This is a reproduction of a poster created by R.Lowry as part of his Senior Thesis Project at The University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture & Planning in 1959. The Thesis is entitiled "Rhythm in Design" which develops a new system for obtaining proportional relationship of space. The scene was taken from an original watercolor study looking up Mt. Adams showing Rookwood Pottery at the top. The foreground details have since been drastically changed by the introduction of the I-71 highway thru downtown. As a humorous sidenote, this original poster was destroyed by termites eating into the backer board. The surface was in good enough condition to obtain this photographic copy.
The original watercolor study was given to friends, Nancy and Andy Adkinson of Cincinnati.
